Stackly

About Stackly

We are a small leasing agency that rents homes for owners in four cities and looks after the people who live in them.

A grey two-storey house with a deep front porch and an upstairs balcony porch, seen from the side of a small front lawn.

How it started

Dana grew up above her parents’ rental in Bloomfield and spent her twenties fixing the things tenants called about. In 2014 she began leasing homes for a few neighbors who were tired of doing it themselves.

Eleven homes became a hundred, then Baltimore in 2017, Richmond in 2020 and Cincinnati in 2022. Each city came with an agent who already lived there.

The idea has stayed the same. Put the real costs and rules on every listing, answer the phone, and fix what breaks.

Three promises we keep

01

Say it before they ask

Rent, deposit, pet fees and utilities are written on every listing, so the lease holds no surprises.

02

Reply before we close

Calls, texts and emails get a reply before we close. Maintenance calls get one at any hour.

03

Treat each home like ours

We walk every home between renters and fix what we would not want to live with.
